Ireland defeated South Africa by 69 runs in the final One-Day International of their series, securing a morale-boosting victory.
Ireland posted a competitive total of 284-9 in their 50 overs, with standout performances from captain Paul Stirling (88 off 92 balls) and Harry Tector (60 off 48). South Africa, in reply, were bowled out for 215 in 46.1 overs.

Though Ireland lost wickets at regular intervals, they managed to push their score close to 300 thanks to Tector’s brisk innings. South Africa’s Williams took 4-56, while Baartman and Phehlukwayo claimed two wickets each.
In response, South Africa’s top order crumbled early, with Mark Adair (2-54) and Graham Hume (3-29) making crucial breakthroughs. Jason Smith kept the Proteas in the hunt with a fighting 91 off 93 balls, but he lacked support from the rest of the lineup.
Craig Young (3-40) and Fionn Hand (1-44) wrapped up the South African innings, securing a memorable win for Ireland.
